Nathan is a Nashville native and attended David Lipscomb Campus School. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Lipscomb University before receiving his Juris Doctor degree from the Nashville School of Law. After graduating from law school, Nathan began his law practice with a general practice law firm. Soon thereafter, Nathan focused his legal practice in the areas of contracts, real property and real property transactions, joining Chapman & Rosenthal Title, Inc. in 2013. Nathan, his wife Cary, and their three children live in Williamson County. Nathan has served on the board of the Williamson County Bar Association for four years and currently serves as the Administrative Chair. Nathan is a past member of the John Marshall American Inns of Court.
