Kate, a lifelong Davidson County resident, lives in Green Hills with her husband, Brandon, their almost adult kids, Jake and Jack, and their goldendoodles, Chad and Brad. She attended Goodpasture Christian School and graduated from Lipscomb University with a B.A. in Political Science. She earned her J.D. from Pepperdine School of Law in 2000, where she met Brandon. After clerking for Judge Muriel Robinson, she served as a Staff Attorney for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and later focused her law practice on contracts and real estate. Kate serves on the Stephens Christian Trust in Franklin and is a big supporter of Homes for Homes, a non-profit organization that funds the housing needs of the poor and oppressed in impoverished countries. She and her family are members at the Otter Creek Church in Brentwood.
